On August 17, 56 Bridgestone Mexico (BSMX) employees, including contractors and interns from the Manufacturing facility in Cuernavaca, Mexico, participated in reforestation day, exemplifying the Environment Priority Area of Our Way to Serve.

Reforestation refers to the natural or intentional restocking of existing forests and woodlands that have been depleted.

Before they began their reforestation work, participants gathered at the Cuernavaca Plant to attend a discussion hosted by the BSMX Environmental, Health and Safety team to receive instructions and learn about the process of planting the native trees.

At the end of the day, volunteers successfully replanted 120 trees, exceeding their original goal of 100 trees. In addition, employees were also given a tree to take home to their families.
