From April 29 – May 19, Bridgestone Brazil (BSBR) led a traffic safety education initiative titled "Bridgestone Traffic Education #WeAreTheTraffic" for children in communities surrounding its plants in Santo André, Campinas, São Pedro, Camaçari and Mafra.

The project presented concepts, situations and traffic reality simulations to increase traffic safety awareness for children through fun activities and games. BSBR also provided teachers with print and online materials to incorporate the learnings into their curriculums.

"This project is another way Bridgestone Brazil is committed to our global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, Our Way to Serve," said Fabio Fossen, President, BSBR. "By providing accessible education projects like We Are the Traffic in the communities we serve, we are helping build safer and healthier communities."

Bridgestone Traffic Education #WeAreTheTraffic was created in partnership with the consulting firm NTICS Projects and the Yellow May Movement to teach safe traffic practices in a playful way.
