Bridgestone Americas receives Above & Beyond Award

Bridgestone Americas recently received the Above & Beyond Award from the Ohio Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).  The award recognized Bridgestone for going above and beyond to support Guard and Reserve teammates with additional benefits that exceed the minimum requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.

Bridgestone was nominated by second class petty officer Missy Moore, Mold Designer II, who currently is an active Navy reserve. Missy was joined by Marty Yurjevich, Executive Director of Advanced Tire Engineering, and Al Loew, Akron Human Resources Manager, at the awards ceremony in Columbus, Ohio, to accept the award on behalf of Bridgestone.
