Bridgestone Tires Outfit FCA Vehicles

Fiat Strada, Uno, Toro and Mobi, in addition to Jeep Renegade and Compass, leave factories with Bridgestone and Firestone tires

Bridgestone Brazil Fiat Chrysler Automobiles

Bridgestone, the world's largest tire manufacturer and partner of  Fiat Chrysler Automobiles   (FCA), provides, through the Bridgestone and Firestone brands, different tire models that outfit some of the vehicles produced by the automaker in Brazil.

The Fiat Strada pickup truck and Fiat Fiorino van have the original Firestone F-700 tire, the main tire of the Firestone brand, in dimensions 175/70R14 88T. F-700 is a tire designed to withstand loads. In addition, the wide longitudinal ridges and tread design of the F-700 promote excellent water flow and provide a balance between wear, wet traction and energy efficiency. This tire also features excellent braking performance and durability, settling into a reliable product with superior quality and excellent value for money.

Fiat Uno and Mobi also use Firestone tires; however, the model Multihawk in dimensions 175/65R14 82T. Firestone Multihawk features increased tread stiffness, rounded-shape blocks and connection between blocks, allowing better control and braking on dry runway, greater water drainage and better handling in the wet and less noise when rolling. The optimized tread design of this tire provides lower rolling resistance and greater resistance to uneven wear.

Fiat Toro, another pickup truck from the automaker's utility line, and Jeep Renegade are equipped with Bridgestone Dueler H/T 684II tires in dimensions 215/65R16 102H. Jeep Renegade can also be equipped with the Dueler tire in dimensions 225/55R18 98H, the same applied to Jeep Compass. With optimized compounding and structure and four longitudinal ridges, Dueler tires provide high-speed maneuvering stability and superior wet performance thanks to its efficient water-flow system.

The Dueler tire has Uni-T technology, a development platform based on the combination of exclusive COCS, LL Carbon and O-Bead technologies, which provide greater comfort, steering and durability, as well as reduced noise generation.
