To achieve our vision, Bridgestone is focused on What Really Matters and will transform and improve the way people move, live, work and play throughout their lives today, while also creating a more sustainable future for generations to come.

We’ve announced critical sustainability commitments, such as reducing the company’s CO2 emissions by 50% by 2030 (using 2011 emissions as a baseline) and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050. We also want to contribute to the creation of a circular economy. By 2030, our goal is to realize a 40% rate of materials using recycled and renewable resources. By 2050, we aim to deliver products that are made from 100% sustainable materials.

We’re laying the groundwork to be more responsible and sustainable. This will make us more productive and position us to offer more equal opportunities. Getting people down the road matters. But what really matters is getting generations down one.
