SUSIE LONG

Chief Human Resources Officer, Bridgestone West

Susie Long was named Chief Human Resources Officer for Bridgestone West in May 2025. In this pivotal role, Long leads the HR organizations that support the company’s business strategies as well as the 60,000+ Bridgestone Americas and EMEA teammates across the globe.

Previously, Long served as the Senior Vice President and Head of HR for Bridgestone Americas and EMEA. She was responsible for developing the global talent management strategy and leading enterprise initiatives focused on cultural transformation and employee engagement.

Before joining Bridgestone in 2014, Long led Organizational Development at Dollar General Corporation, as well as Global Talent Management and Development for the global supply chain group at Luxottica Corp., the world's largest eyeglass manufacturer. She began her career in retail and sales operations as a Regional Director for companies such as Cole Vision, Victoria's Secret, and Bath & Body Works. Long’s operations career also included the luxury goods industry, allowing her to work as an expat in the UK, China, Italy, and Japan.

Long is an alumna of the University of Tennessee, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Philosophy.
