Chief Audit Executive, Bridgestone West

Dean Kim was appointed as the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Audit Executive for Bridgestone West in May 2025. In this role, Kim oversees the Legal, Audit, Security/Risk organizations as well as Standards and Regulations, and Government Affairs across the Americas and EMEA.

Previously, Kim served as the company’s first Chief Audit Executive for Bridgestone Americas and Bridgestone West where he was responsible for prioritizing Enterprise Risk, creating an Investigations Center of Excellence, and enhancing Bridgestone’s business advisory functions.

Kim began his career at the Ford Motor Company in Michigan before joining Bridgestone in 1998. He sat for the Michigan Bar after earning a Juris Doctor and MBA from Vanderbilt Law School and Owen Business School.

During his career, Dean has served as General Counsel for various practice areas, including Litigation, Intellectual Property, Business, Compliance, Labor and Employment, Corporate, and Environmental, Health and Safety. In recent years, Kim has also served as a member of the BSAM Audit Committee and has served on the Board of Directors for TireHub, Firestone Liberia and Bridgestone Golf.
