Bridgestone Mexico (BSMX) employees participated in the first diversity and inclusion activity as part of the 2019 culture and wellness program, 'Family at Bridgestone'.

To commemorate the International Day of Childhood Cancer, 30 volunteers from BSMX shared a day of fun, learning and games with 20 children during a visit to the "Papalote, Museo del Niño" (Children's Museum) in Mexico City. The museum focuses on interactive science, technology and art exhibits that help children learn, communicate and work together.

The volunteers partnered with the Dr. Sonrisas Foundation -- an organization that provides support to children and families undergoing treatment for cancer, HIV, AIDS, cystic fibrosis and other life-threatening illnesses. With the support of the Dr. Sonrisas Foundation, the volunteers played in the different areas of the museum and shared a very special day with the children and their families.

Through this initiative, Bridgestone reinforces its global commitment to corporate social responsibility, Our Way to Serve, in the People Priority Area.
