Bridgestone Brazil (BSBR) recently promoted a donation campaign of cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to assist the community of Santo André, Brazil, which was impacted by floods that hit the city in March.
Employees from the Santo André plant and the São Paulo Corporate Office contributed with more than 100 products, including garbage bags, laundry soap, floor cloths, gloves, bleach and more. The cleaning supplies and other items were given to the Solidarity Fund of Santo André, which will distribute the items to the community.
Through this initiative, Bridgestone employees reinforced our global commitment to corporate social responsibility, Our Way to Serve, in the People Priority Area, which seeks to promote access to the resources people need to lead healthier lives.
