Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC (FSIP), is showcasing its latest Bladder and Sleeve components, which lower cost per tire as a result of reduced tire building machine downtime, during the Tire Technology Expo 2016, Feb. 16-18, in Hanover, Germany.

“Tire Technology Expo, Europe’s leading international tire design and manufacturing exhibition, is the ideal platform for Firestone Industrial Products to demonstrate the benefits of its bladders and sleeves,” said Jason Smith, global channel manager, bladders and sleeves, FSIP. “As a long-standing leader in the industry, Firestone Industrial Products has been successfully manufacturing rubber parts for tire building machines since the early 1970s, and we are constantly innovating to meet and exceed changing customer demand.”

FSIP’s Bladder and Sleeve technology delivers exceptional tire uniformity and improved part life, which in turn can help to reduce customers’ cost per tire. The company continually expands and adapts its manufacturing capabilities, such as developing rubber components for mechanical turn-up drums, to evolve with industry trends.

In addition, FSIP has reorganized its Arnhem, The Netherlands, team to efficiently meet the needs of current and potential Euopean customers. Slawek Zieleniec leads the team as the primary representative for Bladders and Sleeves sales.
