Bridgestone Launches New Tire for Agricultural Market

Firestone IF710/70R38 All Traction DT

Firestone Radial All Traction DT tire with AD2 technology is designed to support 20 percent more load than a standard radial tire

Bridgestone, the world's largest tire and rubber company, is introducing the all-new Firestone IF710/70R38 Radial All Traction DT tire for agricultural applications in Brazil. The tire expands the lineup of the company's agricultural tire offerings and is built for tractors that goes above 180 HP power. This offers improved traction, reduced soil compaction, and better fuel economy, which can reduce operating costs.

Agricultural radial tires provide better load distribution on the soil. The new Firestone IF710/70R38 Radial All Traction DT extends this benefit through the use of exclusive AD2 technology from Firestone. Due to this innovation, this Firestone Radial All Traction DT, with AD2 Technology, tire can withstand 20 percent more load than a standard radial tire at the same inflation pressure as a standard tire of the same size.

"The soil preparation process is demanding a greater load capacity and traction due to increasingly heavy implements. We developed the Firestone Radial All Traction DT tire with AD2 technology to meet these needs”, explains Concheta Feliciano, Director of Marketing, Bridgestone Brasil.  "We  analyze the needs of our customers in their operations in the field to innovate and provide products that meet them completely.”
