In celebration of Valentine's Day, the Chicago Distribution Center (DC) sent heartfelt messages to military personnel, recognizing their service to protect our freedom.
Employees signed cards featuring a military heart design to be sent to both veterans and active service members deployed across the world, and one employee even had a chance to send his card directly to service members in his own family.
The Chicago DC partnered with Major Jo Langham at the Salvation Army who distributes cards through the California-based A Million Thanks organization. A Million Thanks provides support and appreciation to our active and veteran military men and women through sending letters, as well as providing higher education scholarships to their children.
All who participated enjoyed celebrating the holiday in this meaningful way and look forward to sending cards again soon. We are thankful for our Chicago DC employees for their efforts spreading the love to military members this Valentine's Day!
