Bridgestone Women’s Initiative Group unveils Art in Leadership painting at Bridgestone Tower

Bridgestone Women's Initiative Group painting at Bridgestone Tower

Bridgestone Women's Initiative Network (BWIN) recently celebrated a special event on Friday, January 4, with the induction of a communal painting that now hangs on the 14th floor of Bridgestone Tower. The painting, entitled BWIN United, is the outcome of a collaborative project between BWIN, a local Nashville art studio (Studio 208), and local artist Beth Inglish.

Nearly 50 BWIN members took part in creating the painting during the Art in Leadership workshop, a unique networking event centered around the power of creativity in leadership and personal development, with Beth completing the paining into its final product. The painting unveil ceremony was attended by TJ Higgins, President, Integrated Consumer Tire Group, U.S. and Canada, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO), and one of BWIN's executive sponsors; the BWIN executive committee and several BWIN 'artists,' who participated in the painting's creation.

BWIN is an Employee Resource Group (ERG) with the objective of helping attract, retain, and develop female teammates, as well as to engage women and men to enhance our culture and to promote gender diversity in the workplace.
