On April 13, the Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival was held at Nashville Public Square. The Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival is a celebration of spring and friendship between Japan and America occasioned by the blossoming cherry trees. As a company with strong ties to Japan, Bridgestone proudly supports the annual Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival committee and their commitment to plant 100 cherry trees each spring as a way to share the Japanese culture with the Nashville community.

Chris Karbowiak, Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Executive Vice President, Bridgestone Americas, represented Bridgestone at the event.

"As a company that has roots in these two countries, we are happy to celebrate our friendship between Japan and America," said Chris. "Our Global CSR commitment Our Way to Serve sets the framework for the Bridgestone Sustainability Journey. Across Bridgestone Americas, this commitment is evident through our support of local communities across many different programs and initiatives."
