Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) recently held an in-store Chevy Car Giveaway Sweepstakes, in which customers could win their choice of a 2019 Chevy Tahoe, Malibu or Silverado. Every eligible customer who got a free battery check as part of their courtesy check or a complete vehicle inspection could enter the drawing for a chance to win one of the three vehicles.
Across the country more than 2,000 customers entered the six-week contest and two winners were selected and surprised with the Chevy of their choice. The surprise deliveries were made to Rustam Popkov in North Hills, California and Kerry Simpson in Burleson, Texas.
Kerry said she had never won a sweepstakes before, but always enters when she has the chance. It was the advertisement for the contest that prompted her to pull into the store that day. "I needed to have my oil changed anyway," she recalled.
The new car could not have come at a better time as her father is in declining health and Kerry needed reliable transportation to travel to visit him. "I am so grateful for this promotion and the opportunity it has given me to help care for my father," she said when handed the keys.
