Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Express Tire and Auto Service (Express Tire), a San Diego-based automotive service network with 20 store locations in Southern California. With more than 2,220 stores and 23,000 employees nationwide, BSRO continues to be the world's largest network of company-owned tire and automotive service centers.

The acquisition of Express Tire is part of the Integrated Consumer Tire Group's strategy to provide customers with increased access to consumer-preferred Bridgestone and Firestone products through both company-owned retail stores and our large and growing independent dealer channel.
