On October 30 and 31, Bridgestone Americas was awarded at the Sustainability Symposium held by Honda in the Biodiversity and Conservation category. This award is related to the donation of the Bridgestone Nature Reserve at Chestnut Mountain, and it is the first year Bridgestone received the award.
On April 25, 2018, Bridgestone had announced the official signing of the donation of 5,763 acres to the Nature Conservancy in Tennessee to create the Bridgestone Nature Reserve at Chestnut Mountain. This donation was the largest land donation in the history of The Nature Conservancy in Tennessee.
This achievement is confirmation of our commitment to working toward a sustainable society by conserving natural resources, reducing carbon dioxide emissions and encouraging others to live in harmony with nature, which is exemplifying Our Way to Serve.
