Amanda Mathis named one of Nashville’s top CFOs

The Nashville Business Journal recently announced Amanda Mathis as a winner of the 2018 CFO Award. Amanda was honored at the 2018 CFO Awards on October 10. For 10 years, the CFO Awards have recognized Middle Tennessee's best financial minds and is designed to honor them for outstanding performance in their role as corporate financial overseers.

Amanda joined Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (BSAM) as Controller for the Consumer Tire Division in 2012, and has been a leader in the Bridgestone finance department since 2013. She was later promoted to Vice President, Finance for Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO) North America and concurrently named Acting CFO in September 2016. Amanda was named CFO in May 2017. She continues to focus on strategic management and employee development. 

Beyond her work at Bridgestone, Amanda serves on the Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center (VICC) Board of Overseers, which supports advocacy, fundraising and advising for VICC. Amanda also serves on the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition Board of Directors.
