Bridgestone Teammates attend Inclusioneer Adapt-a-Car event

Bridgestone Americas Technical Center (ATC) teammates represented Bridgestone at a local Inclusioneer Adapt-A-Car event dedicated to providing an adaptive ride-on-car to children needing help with mobility issues. Inclusioneers provide inclusive engineered solutions and volunteer their time and talent to help people of all abilities engage in community programs and enjoy their natural learning environment.

Bridgestone was one of seven organizations to participate in the program that provided seven children with a sponsored vehicle. Inclusioneers adapted the Bridgestone-sponsored 12v power car for two-year-old Tobias, who has Spina Bifida and Autism Spectrum Disorder. The adaptive power wheel on his new car will help him play outdoors with his seven siblings and enjoy family trips to the park. During the event, he got to test out his new remote-controlled ride in a small "village" that was set up with the help of local school students.
