NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 27, 2026) – Bridgestone Retail Operations (Bridgestone), a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas and operator of the largest network of company-owned automotive service providers in the world, today announced the donation of 10 new passenger vans to Boys & Girls Clubs of America. With these contributions, Bridgestone has donated more than 100 vans and over $30M to the organization since 2015 – a major milestone that coincides with the 100th anniversary of Bridgestone-owned Firestone Complete Auto Care.
The 100th Driving Great Futures van was donated today to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area in Austin, Texas. The remaining passenger vans will be delivered to nine local Clubs across the country. The vans provide transportation for young people to get to and from their Clubs, as well as access to field trips, college tours and other enrichment opportunities. Bridgestone will also support these Boys & Girls Clubs by maintaining the new vehicles at its retail stores.
The 2026 van grant Club recipients are:
- Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area in Austin, Texas
- Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows in Reno, Nev.
- Boys & Girls Club of Lynn in Lynn, Mass.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County in Oklahoma City, Okla.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka in Topeka, Kan.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove in Garden Grove, Calif.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin in Santa Rosa, Calif.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas in Greenville, Texas
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County in West Bend, Wis.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Albany in Albany, Ga.
“Donating our 100th van as we celebrate 100 years of business is a testament to the dedication and generosity of our teammates and customers,” said Marko Ibrahim, President, Bridgestone Retail Operations. “We believe in the transformative power of Boys & Girls Clubs and are honored to provide the critical transportation that makes their life-changing resources accessible to kids and teens in the communities we serve.”
“For more than a decade, Bridgestone has helped ensure Club kids and teens can access the opportunities and support they need to succeed,” said Jim Clark, president and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “Reliable transportation helps connect young people to caring mentors, safe places and experiences that can change the trajectory of their lives. Today, 97% of Club kids expect to graduate from high school, and partnerships like Driving Great Futures help make outcomes like that possible. We’re grateful for Bridgestone’s continued commitment to young people and proud to celebrate this remarkable 100-van milestone.”
In 2015, Bridgestone established its Driving Great Futures national partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America with the mission of "helping more young people access the opportunities, experiences and support they need to succeed". Through donations collected at the company’s retail stores, Bridgestone has contributed funds to address transportation-related needs. The company has also bridged technology gaps through the purchase of new computers and hotspots to support in-person Club programming, virtual classroom learning and other technology infrastructure needs.
