Firestone Industrial Products Announces New Leadership Roles at Williamsburg and Wolsztyn Plants

Wendy Goff, Pawel Gajda and Pawel Krystek take on new responsibilities within the organization

Firestone Industrial Products Company, LLC (FSIP), a leader in developing technology to eliminate vibration in global transportation, today announced changes to leadership at its Williamsburg, Kentucky and Wolsztyn, Poland manufacturing facilities. Wendy Goff has joined FSIP as plant manager of the Williamsburg facility. She succeeds Pawel Gajda, who will return to Poland and resume his role of plant manager of the Wolsztyn facility.

Goff joins FSIP from Armstrong Flooring in Jackson, Mississippi, where she was plant manager. She has more than 10 years of experience as a plant manager in a Tier 1 automotive component supplier, and she has held positions of increasing responsibility from human resources manager to quality assurance manager and most recently as plant manager. She earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tennessee, and a Master of Business Administration from Morehead State University in Morehead, Kentucky.

“We are excited to have Wendy as part of the FSIP manufacturing leadership team,” said Brad Marks, director of global operations, FSIP. “Her demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and team building will benefit our operations in Williamsburg and enhance our global manufacturing footprint.

“I want to thank Pawel for his dedication and commitment,” continued Marks. “It was critical to have an experienced leader like Pawel to help lead the plant’s expansion capabilities for consumer automotive air suspension, in addition its industry-leading commercial air suspension. He brings a much broader knowledge of the global manufacturing business with him back to Poland in 2020, which will help with its expansion to support new automotive businesses in Europe.”

Pawel Krystek, former plant manager of the Wolsztyn facility, assumes a new role as manager of advanced manufacturing, based in Poland. In this role, he will lead the multi-year work to create advanced manufacturing capabilities within FSIP.

“I want to thank Pawel for doing a great job as Wolsztyn plant manager. His leadership helped set the plant and FSIP on a solid path to becoming a leading integrated and global manufacturer,” said Marks. “His experience with new technology and managing plants will allow him to rethink and redesign the air spring manufacturing processes of the future."
