Bridgestone Americas (Bridgestone) and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear) have completed the transaction to form TireHub, a new national tire distributor of passenger and light truck tires in the U.S. All Bridgestone Tire Wholesale Warehouse (TWW) teammates working in field and branch locations are now part of TireHub, effective July 1.
TireHub is a 50-50 joint venture between Bridgestone and Goodyear and will be led by a separate management team based in Atlanta. The new company combines the company-owned distribution networks of Bridgestone and Goodyear to distribute the passenger and light truck tire portfolios of both companies. TireHub will begin serving customers on July 3.

TireHub is designed to complement the Bridgestone network of third-party distributors and will help independent dealers manage growing complexity in the tire business driven by SKU proliferation. With a nationwide footprint, TireHub will have the scale to reach the vast majority of tire retail locations in the U.S. daily, ensuring retailers have the right tires at the right time to meet the needs of customers.
TireHub will employ more than 1,000 people across its network nationwide. The new wholesale distribution company will distribute Bridgestone, Firestone, Fuzion, LeMans, Goodyear, Kelly and Dunlop tires.
TireHub is a joint venture in passenger and light truck tire distribution in the U.S. only. Bridgestone and Goodyear remain competitors.
