To reinforce the long-standing partnership between Bridgestone and John Deere, as well as align business strategies for the coming years, executives from Bridgestone Americas and John Deere convened for a three-day meeting in Brazil February 5-7.
It had been two years since this kind of global meeting between the two organizations took place.
The meetings started on May 5 with a visit to the John Deere tractor plant in Montenegro, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, which is John Deere's largest factory in Brazil. On the second day of the program, executives visited John Deere dealers in Campinas and visited a sugar mill in the city of Pirassununga, in the state of São Paulo. On the third and last day of visits, the team met at the John Deere headquarters in Indaiatuba, state of São Paulo, where Paulo Hermann presented to the group on the Brazilian Ag tire market.
"During the three days of visits and meetings, we were acknowledged by John Deere leadership for our thorough communication, support of John Deere's sales goals and the integrated relationship that goes well beyond simply providing a product," said Tony. "This acknowledgement shows us that we are on the right path to breakthrough growth, one of the pillars of our Transformation Journey."
The visit helped further drive Firestone Ag's long-standing partnership with John Deere.
