Firestone Polymers Teammates volunteering

On Saturday, April 13, Firestone Polymers (FSPC) teammates in Lake Charles, Louisiana, participated in the annual Lake Area Industrial Alliance Trash Bash as part of the Great American Cleanup. Trash Bash is a free, annual event where citizens drop off trash at collection stations. The event encourages residents to dispose of their garbage properly to ensure a greener, healthier and safer community.

Lake Charles residents brought a variety of items for disposal including electronic devices, light bulbs, paper shredding, batteries, clothing, sofas, paint and more. FSPC teammates oversaw the collection of these items, and sorted paint for recycling.

Keep America Beautiful (KAB), a leading national nonprofit, inspires and educates people to take action every day to improve and beautify their community environment. Launched on the first day of spring, the Great American Cleanup 2019 is KAB’s nationwide call-to-action to engage more volunteers and participants in public space cleanup.

We are proud of our FSPC teammates for demonstrating our global corporate social responsibility commitment, Our Way to Serve, through your dedication to our Environment Priority Area, ensuring a healthy environment for current and future generations.
