Bridgestone partners with NFL stars to highlight clutch performance off the field at Super Bowl LIII

Bridgestone Americas NFL player Warrick Dunn

Sunday marks the 53rd Super Bowl and the 12th for Bridgestone as the Official Tire of the NFL®. To bring its NFL partnership to life, the brand is creating a variety of interactive fan experiences throughout Atlanta and maximizing the opportunities that the Super Bowl offers to engage our consumers, customers and employees. It also offers a natural opportunity to communicate the Bridgestone "Clutch Performance" message to the game's passionate fans.

Bridgestone tires are engineered to perform when it matters most for drivers on the road, so it works with the NFL to celebrate the players who deliver similar clutch performances when the game is on the line. But Bridgestone knows that true Clutch Performance goes beyond the field of play, too.

Bridgestone is committed to supporting the communities in which we live, work, and play as part of the company's Our Way to Serve commitment. With that in mind, we're also focused on celebrating and supporting players who are extending the idea of Clutch Performance off the field to make a difference in their local communities. For Super Bowl LIII, Bridgestone is proudly partnering with former Atlanta Falcons running back Warrick Dunn and current Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen to highlight this message.

Bridgestone teamed up with Dunn to support the work he's doing with Warrick Dunn Charities and together surprised a deserving local mother and son – Ethiopian immigrants Lula and Mossab – with tickets to this weekend's big game. Lula also received support from Warrick Dunn Charities to become a first-time homeowner through the organization's Homes for the Holidays program.

Since establishing Warrick Dunn Charities in 1997, Dunn has been able to improve the lives of thousands of children and families. Bridgestone is proud to honor the great work he is doing and to help create memorable moments for families that may not have the opportunity otherwise.

Bridgestone also partnered with Olsen earlier this season to spotlight his work with The Greg Olsen Foundation and the HEARTest Yard initiative, a fund to assist families of children affected by congenital heart disease at Levine Children's Hospital.

Olsen and his wife, Kara, established the initiative in 2012 after their son T.J. was born with a heart defect called hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Together with Levine Children's they established the cutting-edge program providing families of babies born with heart defects with a multitude of services including in-home, private nursing care, physical therapy and speech therapy among other benefits.

Bridgestone is proud to support and spotlight these efforts from both Dunn and Olsen, and will be working with both players in Atlanta to share their stories with media, guests and fans. The company will also present a donation to each player's charity as part of the weekend festivities.
