The Bridgestone Americas agriculture tire manufacturing plant in Des Moines, Iowa, recently worked alongside Women of Steel, the union's women volunteer and engagement committee, to host a Stuff the Bus campaign. Teammates collected over 300 children's books and delivered them on May 4 to Oak Park Elementary, a local elementary school the plant adopted years ago.
Des Moines teammates are dedicated to supporting Oak Park Elementary through their annual 5K run/walk, reading to students on the United Way's Day of Action and by adopting students to purchase gifts for during the holidays.
