Nizar Trigui was named Chief Executive Officer of Bridgestone Mobility Solutions (BMS) January 1, 2023. As CEO, Trigui is charged with establishing the strategic direction of the organization, managing its day-to-day global operations and delivering profitable growth to support Bridgestone global commitments. The BMS organization is focused on becoming the global leader and partner of choice in development and deployment of mobility solutions that create value for fleets, OEM's, consumers and smart cities.

Trigui joined Bridgestone Americas in 2017 as the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Three years later in June 2021, Trigui accepted the expanded role of CTO and Group President for the company’s Solutions Businesses. As CTO and Group President, Solutions Businesses for Bridgestone Americas, Trigui was responsible for accelerating the commercialization of technology, products, services and solutions to bring new ideas to market and fuel business growth. He led the company’s research and development efforts with a business-first approach to innovation.

Trigui joined Bridgestone from DURA Automotive where he served as CTO and Executive Vice President leading corporate product strategy, technology portfolio and global product development. Prior to DURA, he held a series of executive positions with Ford Motor Company in the U.S. and Jaguar Land Rover in England.

Trigui earned his bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University. He also received executive training at the Yale University School of Management and is a two-time winner of the prestigious Henry Ford Technology Award.
