Bridgestone Nashville teammates partner with Tennessee State Parks for service project

Bridgestone teammates volunteer for park cleanup

Bridgestone Americas Nashville teammates, led by Scott Sullivan, Vice President, Corporate Controller, recently partnered with Tennessee State Parks for a service project and team-building activities at  the Percy Priest Lake Long in Hunter State Park located in Hermitage, Tennessee. Teammates participated in a series of activities to clean up the park and prepare it for the opening of the new children’s program.

The clean-up effort was split into two teams – the first team spent the morning loading, transporting and spreading gravel to build a trail for the park’s new story trail for a children’s book called “Over in the Forest Come and Take a Peek.” The the second team put together several picnic benches to increase the seating in the area. Despite the heat, bugs and overall exhaustion, the teammates worked together to complete the project and enjoyed some fun outside the office to help the local community.
