ARTSprouts Youth Art & Garden Outreach

Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art’s educational outreach program, ARTSprouts, brings engaging discussion and hands-on activities focused on art and the natural world to youth in Middle Tennessee. For some children, Cheekwood’s educational experiences are among their first and most impressionable experiences in the appreciation of art and nature. The ARTSprouts program, presented by the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund, is a free program for all participants that works with partner organizations to take Cheekwood’s learning experiences beyond its gates and into Middle Tennessee community centers.

Music Makes Us

In 2014, the Bridgestone Trust Fund pledged a five-year commitment to Music Makes Us, a public/private initiative of Metro Nashville Public Schools, the mayor's office and business community, focused on music education programs for local students. The program aims to increase the quality, equity and accessibility of K-12 music in parallel with supporting the development of current and future music educators and deepening the engagement of community partners.
