Strong Communities are Great Neighbors

At Bridgestone Americas, being an outstanding corporate citizen is one of our core strategic pillars — plain and simple, it’s important that the communities in which we work and play are great places to live.

Our company’s leadership is visible through award-winning environmental initiatives, teen driver safety programs and long-standing support of local non-profit organizations.

Demonstrating a culture of being good neighbors, teammates in all of our locations share their time, resources and talents with local organizations through individual and/or group efforts. Every year, thousands of Bridgestone Americas teammates actively engage in environmental conservation, preservation and restoration projects in our communities. Bridgestone Americas is committed to being a good corporate citizen nationally, regionally and especially in the communities where BSA has manufacturing plants, sales facilities, retail locations and offices. We couldn’t be more proud of this tradition and its reflection of our commitment to serve society with superior quality.

Founded in 1952, the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund proudly supports a wide variety of important charities and civic organizations in the United States, particularly in those markets it calls home. While contributions are made to more than 150 organizations each year, the Trust Fund focuses on organizations with missions supporting beneficiaries who will benefit from support of 1) education, 2) environment and conservation and 3) youth development. Including national and local charities, the Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund has donated more than $12 million, impacting both national organizations and countless lives in 32 communities, in the past five years.
